Curbing the waste in construction

A large chunk of the global population is homeless. Though shelter should be considered as a birth right for most of our fellow beings it is still a distant dream.

Providing shelter to all must be the goal of every civilized society. It is a huge task which involves every member of the society.

But paradoxically building construction is an area where wasting of precious resources continues unabatedly.

Curbing the waste in the Habitat sector is a task that should be taken up from the grass root level. Habitat technology group has been considering this problem at many levels. As an organization engaged in the construction of buildings we have evolved cost effective practices that reduce the building costs considerably. In some cases even 30 (%)or more.

  • We popularized the practices by convincing the common man as well as the affluent, the need to curb excessive financial expenditure.
  • We educated the professional fraternity, to be concerned about the wastage.
  • We convince the government that it assures greatest common good.
  • Curbing the waste in house construction, one of the costliest exercises in most peoples lives, brought about a paradigm change.
